The Foundation, in the course of its basic operations, carries out the following R&D activities:

The number of projects has become stable: although the various projects have different terms and involve different amounts of research work, the total number of projects the institutes deals with is around 100. This shows that the institutes work at their maximum capacity as determined by the present number of employees. The number of the various types of project is shown in the following diagram, per institute and year of implementation.
