Well-known aspects of know-how and Intellectual property (IP) are extreme confidentiality and trade secrets. Know-how and IP often go hand-in-hand with patents. There can be very minor details of the invention and the concealment of these details does not endanger the patent’s legal validity, but without the know-how details the invention cannot be fully realized.
The Foundation utilises one part of the finished know-how’s in the course of therelated research activity. On the other hand know-how is the important, unwritten part of patents.
